If I didn’t read the blogs I do I would never have known that Australia has been raveged by a massive fire this past week. Hundreds of people of have died and now that it’s mostly over, wildlife and domesticated animals are facing starvation and dehydration. Farm supplies haven’t been able to get through to the effected areas. At least the local farmers and veterinary schools are offering support for the people, pets and wildlife out there.

wow. that is one of the cutest little pictures. it’s so tired and thirsty that it lets a human hold its little hand. i’ve heard koalas are kind of vicious normally(i almost wrote “viscous” which is something else entirely).
