Hi There Hammy

Occasionally my Netflix brings me presents in the form of awesome movies. I’m not talking The Fall or Princess Mononoke, more like Manos: Hands of Fate or Night of the Lepus (which is, as you all know, one of my all time favorite movies). Today’s little taste of awesome comes in the form of a double feature: The Giant Claw/Creature With the Atomic Brain. Bum bum BUUUMMMMMM! Screeeaaammmm!!! Anywho, I’m pretty ambivalent about the Atomic Brain… dead people walking, controlled by a guy seeking revenge for being put in jail… yadda yadda yadda. I’d say the same for The Giant Claw, until I saw what was attached to the claw (no, I know you expected to see some sort of large, disembodied crab claw, clawing around and pinching well-built, scream ladies to death. Well, you’re not going to get it). It was a hella giant bird! Like something out of the Dark Crystal with a little bit of muppet action. Oh yes, it’s THAT GOOD!
