Love Spoons
When a young fella was sweet on a girl, he would spend hours carving a love spoon to give to her as a token of his… serious intentions. The practice was common in Wales and a smattering of other places during the 17th century. Oh, I’m completely smitten with the whole idea!

IT WAS ON SALE! ON ETSY! FROM PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN WINOOSKI, VT! It’s couldn’t get any better, even if it were dipped in glitter and unicorn smiles. Thank you NewDuds for making me shriek and then spend my money with you today…

What Have I Learned Today?
When I’m testing a new idea, sometimes it’s better to make one of whatever it is. That way I don’t end up with six whoopsies. On the other hand, coming up with something to do with all those accidents can be fun too!
The latest whoopsy turned out to be pretty darn cool in the end! I might even say I did all of that on purpose. This mobile/hanging ornament is made from air-hardening clay painted with acrylic. A tutorial might even be in your near future…
