Hi There Hammy

I found this sweet little video over at Le Love and thought I’d share it with ya’ll. I hope you’re all having a great summer and finding sweethearts to share it with.

This is another very sweet video by  Johnny Kelly called “The Seed”. There’s paper, illustration and general loveliness seeping out of every second of this video.

Oh my GOODNESS! I love everything about this video; from the sweet Icelandic folky images, to the drawing style, to the way everything moves. AH! I could marry this video and be completely content for the rest of my life. Celeste Potter has some more of her really nice animation on her myspace page so be sure to check them out (I can’t for the life of me figure out how those pages work. There’s crap all over them and sometimes it’s related, sometimes it’s not. Sigh… I feel silly).

I found this little video on Le Love today called My First Crush by Julia Pott. I love her work (and I suspected this was the same lady who does all of the intros for the Etsy videos I love so dearly… and it is!) and this video is one of the sweetest things I’ve seen. I want to crawl inside of it and live with the polar bear and birdie.

Junker Jane has been one of my absolute favorite etsy shops lately. Her whimsical little people make me giggle every time I see them. I love the warped sense of scale and details like leg hair that make an appearance in all of her plush people. There aren’t many things in her shop at the moment, but you can go to the “sold” section and see all of the critters she’s sold until now. Oh, how they make me smile! And yes, she totally lives in Portland! Woot!
