The Magical Onion!
WOW! All of this color is just from onion skins! I had no idea it would be as easy as boiling some onion skins down for 20 minutes and then submerging yarn in that simmering liquid for 20 minutes would produce something so pretty… it makes my brain hurt a little just thinking about all of the times I could have been dying things and didn’t because I thought it would be too difficult. Shame on me!

Tartine Success!
My first recipe from Tartine Bread, my Christmas present from himself! Oh it’s so exciting to have a naturally fermented/yeasted bread turn out %100 wonderfully! You can see my earlier post about this book/bakery here, before this sort of baking was even a twinkle in my imagination…
Mini Maker!
Make Magazine posted a video about making quick molds for things like toys. Not only is it a really great, instructional video but it’s also the fourth episode of Mini Maker hosted by and incredibly cute and savvy Super Awesome Sylvia. Via: Craftzine
