Hullo hullo! As you’ve probably deduced from this here blog, I do many things and I’m interested in learning about many more. This blog chronicles my adventures and the things I discover along the way. Here’s a little about me, and perhaps you’ll tell me a little about yourselves too!
I’m a graduate from Evergreen State College and most recently I’ve found myself in wintery, rural Vermont. I have a shop on Etsy.com where I sell all sorts of goodies I make in my spare time and a brand new blog, Hew & Sew, where I keep track of my favorite crafty adventures and show you how to do them too! I love to bake, in fact my friend Star and I have started a cooking blog called Cooking With Hanzipan. It’s been a fun process. My biggest goal/challenge this year will be to get one step closer to making all of my own clothes.
Monty was my companda bunny for two years. He was with me in college and and loved to hanging about with me while I crafted, did homework, research and posted to this blog. However, he fell mysteriously ill and passed away in December, 2009. Now, I have Linus (a rather boisterous albino angora rabbit) who romps around our apartment. He’s always trying to get a nibble in while I’m not looking!
Feel free to post any comments or questions, I’d love to hear from y’all!
Hey Han–a co-worker needs your fingerless glove pattern. She has them made up to where the hand part starts and the pattern she has went all goofy on her and she can’t finish them! Got any instructions she could use?
hmmm… I have a couple, but it depends upon whether she wants the pattern to turn into little half fingers or just end like the end of a sock.
You are a very interesting person and quite pretty too. I found this blog by searching for Bridal Veil Falls which you visited and camped in the lean to. I just went there today it was very nice. Do you hike often or spend most of your time crafting?
I was looking up knitted mushrooms on the internet and came across your beautiful, playful and creative artwork. Thanks for sharing!
I love your ‘autumn fingerless gloves’ pattern! I mailed you on etsy 🙂 Julie
